7 Months, BREED MIX: Husky/Greyhound
GENDER: Female
APPROX. AGE: 7 months old
SIZE: Medium
HISTORY/BACKGROUND: Found homeless begging for food from a guy in a utility vehicle on nearby Reserve. She was very scared of people but wanted the food so badly we were able to lure her in.
TEMPERAMENT & PERSONALITY: Rosetta blossomed in only an hour from fear of being touched, being near humans, to loving attention! She is super outgoing, very playful (learned to play with a toy in a couple days and loves to fetch and retrieve! Rosetta is a very loving, wiggly with excitement to get attention and rolls over for what she's learned are belly rubs! She's really good around all dogs and as far as we can tell all animals including cats. She likely not suited for little children since Rosetta is really excited to get attention and could know over toddlers.
DOG'S NEEDS: An adopter that likes to play with their dog, play fetch, go running, take to dog parks to run and stretch her legs and burn energy, go hiking, and teach basic manners. She's smart and would learn easily. She is eager to please.
BEST MATCH: Someone that likes outdoor activities, hikes, parks, outings, car rides. Another dog for company is good, but she is doing well on her own too. She needs exercise, she is young so needs to get out and run, not just walk on leash.
FAVORITE THINGS: Getting hugs, attention, belly rubs, and you throwing a rope-tennis ball for her to catch and bring back.
