HISTORY/ BACKGROUND: Rescued very pregnant homeless mother who had 7 puppies shortly thereafter
TEMPERAMENT & PERSONALITY: Like all puppies, playful, happy, curious.
BEST MATCH: An adopter who has an active lifestyle. These puppies will have fur that grows thick that are nice for winter activities with family. No couch potatoes. An adopter who understands this puppy will grown up and need exercise, running, dog park outings, hiking, running, and/or dog sport activities. The puppy needs an owner who will take the pet to get well socialized, basic recall to come when called, set rules and boundaries within the household, and teach basics before 5 months of age. Clicker work preferred starting now:). Puppies learn fast and love attention, so use it to your and their advantage and teach them you are the leader and to pay attention, and then praise and reward. They also need a young playmate for quite a few more weeks. Puppies need other dogs to play with, not humans so much, but other pups. Hence, we often adopt one out and request foster a sibling till bit older. Also, a home with another young, playful dog. Dogs really need other dogs within the household to play with and for company when human family is gone.
