HISTORY/BACKGROUND: Was rescued homeless and starving and very pregnant. She gave birth to seven puppies shortly after finding a wonderful foster home.
TEMPERAMENT & PERSONALITY: When Willow first meets a new person she will bark and due to fear, hence, needs an adopter to help get her more socialized and comfortable around new people. Willow is a very sweet and playful pup once she feels safe.
BEST MATCH: The best home would be someone who has experience or the compassion to help a dog that is afraid of people she doesn't know. Willow has come a long way since being in a foster home. But she will need someone who is willing to continue working on her confidence. A second dog would be ideal for willow as it will help her build confidence and she loves to play with other dogs once she knows they are safe. An active home is a must as well as she loves to run and go for walks. A home without young children would also be ideal as she may find the movements of the children scary.
FAVORITE THINGS: Willow loves to chase balls... especially the squeaky kind. She loves walks. Willow loves to cuddle.
