APPROX. AGE: 10-11 months old

HISTORY/BACKGROUND: Popsicle was found by spotting his little pawprints in snow. He had been living under a restaurant, abandoned there to live in below -25. He was meowing when we called out, but was too scared to come out from under, until we put some wet cat food near by. He was so famished he ventured out cautiously then started devouring it. Was easy then to pick him up and carry him back to the car.
TEMPERAMENT & PERSONALITY: Popsicle is extremely loving and affectionate. He wants attention, is outgoing and wants to be around everyone, the other cats and doesn't mind dogs either. The first couple of days he hid, but now he only wants to be where there's company.
BEST MATCH: It's always best if an adopter has another cat, although, Popsicle would be fine on his own too. He's also fine being indoors (which is good, since even in good weather it's too dangerous for cats to be outdoors in Alberta, given all the cars, coyotes, chased by dogs, going onto other people's property and taken to the pound, and other things that can happen.
