HISTORY/BACKGROUND: Very sweet dog and will bond quickly to people. He has snapped at kids when surprised and handled inappropriately. He is a very large and strong dog however he listens well and walks on leash extremely well. Very Smart boy.
NEEDS: Experienced dog owner. Home with no children. Don't know about cats. An adopter who can train basics using positive reinforcement with appropriate and fair discipline. Outdoor oriented adopter who likes hiking, biking, sports, outings. Another dogs or friends that have dogs so he has playmate. This dog would benefit from a job, such as NoseWork! A great companion.
