2 Years, BREED MIX: Chihuahua x min pinscher mix
GENDER: Male
APPROX. AGE: 2 year old
SIZE & WEIGHT: Small, 8 lbs.
HISTORY/BACKGROUND: When our team went to Las Vegas for a conference we visited the shelter for small dogs; that's where we found Apples. He was scared in his cage by himself and seemed to have something that just stood out. We just couldn't help but rescue him.
TEMPERAMENT & PERSONALITY: Apples may be 2 years old but he's as playful as a 1 year old. Apple warms up to you fast and all he wants to do is cuddle. Unless there is a puppy friend around, then it's all about the play time. Apples loves running with his two husky friends, though he gets a little scared when they start to chase him. Apple even will try and play tug with toys and the other dogs. He thinks it's such a great time to race around the back yard and enjoy the time playing. The only thing he seems really scared of is going into the basement. Try as he might he just doesn't like going down there and will wait at the top of the stairs till you get back.
DOG'S NEEDS: Someone who can continue teaching him basic training. A house preferably with another dog for him to play with. Someone who is into walks and hikes. A back yard would be nice.
BEST MATCH: An adopter who has a doggy friend for Apple. Like to be active. And has room for him to run.
FAVORITE THINGS: Running in the back yard, chasing dog friends, and cuddles.
