HISTORY/ BACKGROUND: The town in Hay River, Alberta, found him wondering the streets. The shelter got a call from someone and was told he lived his entire life outside between a house and a garage tied up. How sad! For nearly 11 years! Let's find him a good home the rest of his life.
TEMPERAMENT & PERSONALITY: Harry is very friendly and wants attention. He is bit toy possessive so have to watch him around other dogs if toys are about. Can't blame him! He had none his whole life! Harry nips when he gets excited since he has never had any attention and gets all excited. It's all in play and he will learn not to do that in the near future.
BEST MATCH: An adopter who has a relaxed lifestyle who will take him out to a lake and let him play and take for short walks. He likes being outside in good weather (and how awful in winter he was left outdoors! He no doubt suffered most all his life. Harry would benefit with a house that has a fenced yard.
FAVORITE THINGS: Harry loves attention, being brushed, cuddles, toys to play with and hoard :), and be around people. Harry even loves getting bathes! (403) 818-0703
