HISTORY/ BACKGROUND: Velma was a homeless starving dog on nearby reserve, found scrounging for food and very scared. She was adopted a few years ago but returned for re-homing.
TEMPERAMENT & PERSONALITY: Velma is a super sweet, affectionate, submissive, happy girl. She doesn't play much with other dogs, so would do well as the only dog in a household. She loves attention and lays quietly in her dog bed inside the house. Velma is a very very sweet girl. She gets along with the dogs and cats at the sanctuary, although she is somewhat afraid of large dogs.
BEST MATCH: A somewhat quiet household. Velma enjoys walks, dog parks, and speaking sweetly to her, like all dogs do. She mostly likes getting attention from people she knows (403) 818-0703
